Day Three on the The Cambrian Way mountain trail 479 km (298 miles) with a total ascent of 22,460 m (73,700 ft). I think it could be Britain's hardest long distance trail. Its hard to say but looking at the map i think i started todays episode around the Mynydd Garnclochdy area i want give exact camping locations away. I was so wet from the rain all night i set about getting ready to walk around 4am just to keep warm. I was no risk at cold from the time of Year and in good health. So walked back up towards Mynydd Garnclochdy i think. The rain came back on top the hill. The rain was very bad so much so i could only see about couple of meters ahead what with the mist as well as the dark even with two powerful lights. By this time my cannon camera was destroyed by the weather i should know by now and my phone was useless take note people think phone navigation fine lucky i know this i used my garmin fenix3 gps watch with the track loaded onto so i knew i was heading in the general dir

First of sorry about the shaky camera work and terrible sound. This was filmed before i upgraded to gopro 7 and gimbal. The gimbal is now broke and i still need a microphone that handles wind on the gopro 7. I also badly need more hard drives ideally i need four 8gb hard drives but for now one will have to do. If i do not get these there maybe a big hold on future videos until i do unless i can get the funds together as i this is a hobby not a job. This was a Winter hike and there was some snow. Wind of 70mph in the night wild camping by the path that leaves the Overland track at Pelion Gap to go up Mount Ossa. By there was some bush and flattest ground the Bushes gave me very good wind protection on my Vango blade pro which is is a great tent but no good in winds over 20mph so even thought a great cheap light weight tent you need put in a well sheltered spot. The reason i camped near the start of the Mount Ossa path was to summit the mountain very early and get some great pictures. Was a fantastic sunrise but the day of arrival was very windy and cloud and rain also in the night but the morning wind slowly died down. I got almost to the top but i was time limited and needed get out along the River Arm track the next day. Also there was cloud cover coming in fast. It was very cold as it was winter. I did just almost to the top with fantastic view and yes i was a bit disappointed as i never know if i ever be there again but still it was amazing and worth it. There was no one about as this was out of season and early morning. Mount Ossa is 1,617 metres above sea level. For years it was thought that Cradle Mountain was the highest in Tasmania. Mount Ossa was confirmed to be the highest mountain in Tasmania after an aerial survey in 1954
