Epic Cornwall Wild camping Cape Cornwall St Just Penzance YHA Bad weather 50mph gusts on the coast.

I camped in a old quarry under Kenidjack Cliff Castle that night was 50mph gusts. Today i went back into St just to get the First Kernow bus into Penzance. Buses in Cornwall are not cheap but i am sure they use to be. In Penzance i went to the Library to charge my gear up but hey you say you was going stay at the YHA penzance but i say you can not check into 1700 which made it pointless stopping there but i only was made clear about that after i had paid online. I could have and would have camped on the moors as the wind was going to die down later and i charge my gear up at the Library anyhow. Since i paid i stopped the night there least i got a shower and it was warm but was more of a dribble of water than a power shower. The hostel was clean and kitchen. It was only £10 for a night camping. England Scotland Anglo-Scottish border patrol Kielder castle to Byrness

I stayed the night at Kielder Campsite. Today walk is along the forest road drive most the way. Then of on a 4wd track right of way. On the way i stopped at Ratty bird hide just have a look no rest was needed at this time. It was a nice steady climb for 6 miles to the saddle of the forest track at resting shelter called the Nick. I left the forest drive road onto a 4wd track right of way down to Border Forest Holiday Park where i met famous outdoor youtuber dean read doing the Pennine way which he has now completed so check out his channel. I wanted to see the Kings stones stone circle but lummox been at work and was not possible to see it, Kielder Forest, one of the biggest man-made woodlands in Europe. Kielder Castle is an 18th-century hunting lodge built by the Duke of Northumberland. It is now a Visitor Centre with a cafe. Kielder Campsite is a fantastic campsite i could not fault it. Isle of wight England UK I camped near by respecting the ancient remains. In the morning it was time to head for the Tennyson Monument. 5 Barrows wild camping spring equinox 2019

Isle of wight England UK I paid a visit to Church of Saint Mary the Virgin Brook where i charged my batteries for one hour. Lovely church be sure to leave a good donation if doing such a thing. Today i walked part the coast path to Freshwater bay. Top tip there a a massive COOP supermarket there is a good one apart from the fact they ripped my of with there food deal or at the very least mislead me into thinking i had the food deal i know all supermarkets do it do check your receipts do not let them get away with it. They do have a local produce of the island section worth a look. From here walked up though the golf course at Compton down where some one naughty had drawn a male member onto one the sandpits made me laugh. Mosedale cottage bothy to Great langdale campsite

Lake district Day 5 Cumbria England UK Had a lack of sleep at the party house Mosedale cottage bothy where large group of lads turned up at around 1am off there faces and still awake when i left about 9am. Is the Lake district i should known better not really as remote as some other bothies i mean you could even drive up there in a 4wd which i am sure people do. I still think the more remote bothies elsewhere still ok for hikers rather than pissheads and pillheads. Still not wanting sound boring i hope they had a great time. I walked across Mosedale in the wind and rain towards Shap. Dropped my rubbish of there in a street bin. There are no buses in Shap on a Saturday so in end i decided to hitchhike. I have almost 30 years of hitchhiking experience i should do a video on that at some point. Normally small places easy get lift but cities i would not even bother trying now. So i hitchhiked to Penrith where i got the bus to Keswick hoping to stay the Caravan and camping club there. ...

Lake district Cumbria England UK One week winter adventure digital hoboing. After a long train and bus trip i headed along Great Langdale near to Great Langdale hanging knotts for a first nights wild camp. Second night headed to Great Lingy hill in the Lake District’s Northern Fells for a night at Great Lingy Hut bothy which is on the Cumbria Way. Warnscale Head and Dubs hut bothies was next on the menu up towards Honister Slate Mine. Also just off Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk. I did not get to stay in them as they both was full i think these bothies are more holiday homes than walkers shelter as there not to far of the roads shame would be cool to stop there but they are for every body not just for me :). I ended up camping by them. Next was Mosedale Cottage which you think to far of for people high on pills and drink but at 1am in the morning i was awoke by people as high as a kite.
