Day Three on the The Cambrian Way mountain trail 479 km (298 miles) with a total ascent of 22,460 m (73,700 ft). I think it could be Britain's hardest long distance trail. Its hard to say but looking at the map i think i started todays episode around the Mynydd Garnclochdy area i want give exact camping locations away. I was so wet from the rain all night i set about getting ready to walk around 4am just to keep warm. I was no risk at cold from the time of Year and in good health. So walked back up towards Mynydd Garnclochdy i think. The rain came back on top the hill. The rain was very bad so much so i could only see about couple of meters ahead what with the mist as well as the dark even with two powerful lights. By this time my cannon camera was destroyed by the weather i should know by now and my phone was useless take note people think phone navigation fine lucky i know this i used my garmin fenix3 gps watch with the track loaded onto so i knew i was heading in the general dir...

Holy Mountain sunrise A wild camp on Sugar Loaf in Vango F10 Helium UL Tent

Last night i wild camped at Sugar Loaf mountain. Sugar Loaf mountain is 596 metres above sea level. It is a popular misconception that Sugar Loaf is an extinct volcano. I woke up to a sunrise over  the Skirrid, or the ‘Holy Mountain’ legend is a dramatic landslide on the north of the mountain was caused by a earthquake or a lightning strike at the moment Christ was crucified. There was a local tradition that earth from the Skirrid was holy and especially fertile, and it was taken away to be scattered on fields elsewhere, on coffins, and in the foundations of churches.  Rudolf Hess used to walk here when he was held prisoner at nearby Maindiff Court during the early 1940s. So today was going home day had not much of a choice and it had been a good 4 days including today which will be spent getting back to abergavenny train station. Last night i camped on the The Cambrian Way Britain's hardest long distance trail this part of it is also the Beacons way. First Coffee and a all day breakfast can. After getting the tent down i made my way along the The Cambrian Way (Beacons way) for a short while until a small path going down the steep side of the mountain. Care was needed this time of Year as it was all overgrown and hard to see where the big drops of the path was. After being stuck and covered in ticks maybe i got to a road in the end i could stayed up on the ridge on the  Cambrian Way (Beacon way). original plan was to walk back to Pandy  and catch the X3 stagecoach bus from there into Abergavenny. Plans change on a adventure or i make up the plans as i go along. Now i will be heading to Llanvihangel Crucorney. I had what may have been a tick bite and with all the hysteria over Lyme Disease when it is low risk i have had my back covered in them in 2014 and just scratched them of and that was in a red deer area with long grass by a river in North East Scotland while on the End to End trail John o' groats to lands end. Again only a month or so ago i had a tick in the private parts only realised after it being there for few hours i would think managed to remove it in bits i did clean it well this time it did go a bit red but nothing to worry about. I still feel ok. I wounder how many people think they got Lyme Disease when its just a cold or normal pains and i guess they do a blood test i no idea? Because seems a alarming amount of people seem catch Lyme Disease and i have not and i spend alot time in tick areas i even had a tick in the tent i was so tired could even be bothered to remove it from the tent lol.  I even spoke people who know people who died from it so for some its serious ...

English Welsh border epic view wild camping Vango F10 Helium UL and Jack...

A wild camp on the the best border view in the British isles I got the S6 stagecoach bus from Oxford to Swindon. Then the Train from Swindon to Newport where i changed trains for Abergavenny. Had a quick look around Abergavenny. Then i got the X3 stagecoach from Abergavenny to Pandy where i will start my walk. From Pandy i crossed into the Brecon beacons national park. Bit a small road walk untill i goto the End to End trail . Offa's dyke path, Beacons way section. It was then on upto Hatterrall Hill trig point where the path becomes with English Welsh border with epic view across into England patchwork farming fields. When i walked John o' groats to Lands end to this was the best wild camping view and i think the best view on the whole of the three and half month hike. I always wanted come back here and do a wild camp again and today was the day.
