Day Three on the The Cambrian Way mountain trail 479 km (298 miles) with a total ascent of 22,460 m (73,700 ft). I think it could be Britain's hardest long distance trail. Its hard to say but looking at the map i think i started todays episode around the Mynydd Garnclochdy area i want give exact camping locations away. I was so wet from the rain all night i set about getting ready to walk around 4am just to keep warm. I was no risk at cold from the time of Year and in good health. So walked back up towards Mynydd Garnclochdy i think. The rain came back on top the hill. The rain was very bad so much so i could only see about couple of meters ahead what with the mist as well as the dark even with two powerful lights. By this time my cannon camera was destroyed by the weather i should know by now and my phone was useless take note people think phone navigation fine lucky i know this i used my garmin fenix3 gps watch with the track loaded onto so i knew i was heading in the general dir...

My pre summer solstice trip to Scotland June 2019. This is a wee preview of my two weeks there
I got the bus from Birmingham to Glasgow on National express if you book a good time in advance you can get the ticket as low as £5 one way. I got it for £22 return still very good value i got NX 336 bus from Birmingham at 22.30 and arrived in Glasgow at 06.20 the next day. If you sign up to https://www.topcashback.co.uk/ref/freemoneycashback for free your get cashback on as well which i do. From Glasgow i booked the citylink bus online this way in advance you some times get a better deal i paid £13.70 for a one way from Glasgow to Oban. Adult on foot pays £15.15 one way from Oban to Castle bay on Barra. On Barra there is a bus service with a mini bus but hitchhiking is easy and a better option. The ferry from Barra to Eriskay South uist is £3.15 one way. again there are buses but your find it much faster by hitchhiking altho hitching is free feel free to offer some cash towards the fuel in Britain you do not have to but but if you wish to i am sure driver will appreciate that. North Uist to Harris on the ferry is £3.70. The bus service on Harris is alot better to be honest but you can also hitchhike there. it is £6.50 one way from Harris Tabert to Uig isle of skye. I no longer like hitchhiking on this busy parts of Skye as not so easy and there are buses. Isle of skye ferry to Mallaig is just £3.00. From Mallaig to Fort william £6.10 i booked in advance on the citylink website it is only a mini bus so you may want book incase its busy. Same for Fort william to Glasgow i booked online with citylink for £19.20.

Wittenham Clumps is the name for a pair of wooded chalk hills in the Thames Valley near Little Wittenham. Round Hill, is 120m above sea-level. The magnificent South West Peninsula Day Zero i get the national express coach from Birmingham to Penzance for just £18 one way. I arrive late in the dark and strong rain. I then get the M6 First Kernow bus from Penzance to Mousehole. I arrived at Mousehole harbour from there i walked in the dark along the coast path to find a suitable camping spot which i did after not to far out of mousehole. Day one I set of back to Mousehole had a good look around the harbour then got the M6 First Kernow bus back in to Penzance. Got few bits extra food and drink from Iceland supermarket near the bus station then got the open top A1 First Kernow bus to Lands end from Penzance. From lands end i took in the spot i ended my walk that was twice the length of Britain from John o' groats to lands end on the end to end trail. I walked past the First and last house in England.
