Day Three on the The Cambrian Way mountain trail 479 km (298 miles) with a total ascent of 22,460 m (73,700 ft). I think it could be Britain's hardest long distance trail. Its hard to say but looking at the map i think i started todays episode around the Mynydd Garnclochdy area i want give exact camping locations away. I was so wet from the rain all night i set about getting ready to walk around 4am just to keep warm. I was no risk at cold from the time of Year and in good health. So walked back up towards Mynydd Garnclochdy i think. The rain came back on top the hill. The rain was very bad so much so i could only see about couple of meters ahead what with the mist as well as the dark even with two powerful lights. By this time my cannon camera was destroyed by the weather i should know by now and my phone was useless take note people think phone navigation fine lucky i know this i used my garmin fenix3 gps watch with the track loaded onto so i knew i was heading in the general dir

First thing you will need to do is charge the tracker it comes with no charge. You charge with the usb lead it comes with. It does not include a plug but you can use any usb socket to charge it. Then you want insert a sim card of your choice be careful inserting the sim card. i recommend a giffgaff sim card. It is a Free service only thing you pay for is the cost of 2g data from the sim card you decide to put into the tracker. The sim card will need to be a sim card that works on a 2g network such as giffgaff. I found giffgaff the cheapest for this. Get a new giffgaff sim top it up £10 and your get £5 credit free. Do not buy a bundle as this will only last a month and i walked the dog with the tacker and it only cost me a couple of pence on one minute updates so the top will last more than a month. So now you topped up your sim card for the tracker its time to download the app. The app is free however it is riddled with adds and pop up adds which you can choose remove the adds by paying £4.69 for 12 months with out adds. To be honest i can put up with the adds. The app has standard street map and Satellite map. It does not have os maps which would been handy but this is a very cheap tracker so for this price your not going get that. You can set it up so updates the location every minute which i have it set to do. Also option for 10 minutes and a hour. You can find out the location as well at any time by pressing the location button on the app. The app shows your location and the dogs location with the tracker. I used the tracker for 6 hours got around %50 power left with updates every minute and only used 2p in data on my giffgaff sim card. The tracker comes with a collar but i still use the dogs original collar for the lead and the tracker on its own separate collar it came with.

My pre summer solstice trip to Scotland June 2019. Summer solstice countdown 12/06/2019 New Tolsta is next the beach i wild camped last night at Traigh Mhòr a fantastic beach less than a house by bus from Stornoway.
