Day Three on the The Cambrian Way mountain trail 479 km (298 miles) with a total ascent of 22,460 m (73,700 ft). I think it could be Britain's hardest long distance trail. Its hard to say but looking at the map i think i started todays episode around the Mynydd Garnclochdy area i want give exact camping locations away. I was so wet from the rain all night i set about getting ready to walk around 4am just to keep warm. I was no risk at cold from the time of Year and in good health. So walked back up towards Mynydd Garnclochdy i think. The rain came back on top the hill. The rain was very bad so much so i could only see about couple of meters ahead what with the mist as well as the dark even with two powerful lights. By this time my cannon camera was destroyed by the weather i should know by now and my phone was useless take note people think phone navigation fine lucky i know this i used my garmin fenix3 gps watch with the track loaded onto so i knew i was heading in the general dir

Last night i camped on the The Cambrian Way Britain's hardest long distance trail this part of it is also the Beacons way. First Coffee and a all day breakfast can. After getting the tent down i made my way along the The Cambrian Way (Beacons way) for a short while until a small path going down the steep side of the mountain. Care was needed this time of Year as it was all overgrown and hard to see where the big drops of the path was. After being stuck and covered in ticks maybe i got to a road in the end i could stayed up on the ridge on the Cambrian Way (Beacon way). original plan was to walk back to Pandy and catch the X3 stagecoach bus from there into Abergavenny. Plans change on a adventure or i make up the plans as i go along. Now i will be heading to Llanvihangel Crucorney. On the way i found what the Ancients of Wales may have called a blwch ffôn it may have been used to contact the dead. The English may have called it a telephone box. So i arrived at Llanvihangel Crucorney only to find out The oldest Inn in Wales is here.
The Skirrid Mountain Inn is mainly a mid-late 17th century building in construction. legend is that the inn was used as a rallying point for local supporters of the Welsh Revolt against the rule of Henry IV, the uprising being led by Owain Glyndŵr. the first floor of the inn was "reputedly" used as a Court of Law where capital punishment was imposed for certain offences, including sheep stealing. Legend has it that as many as 180 criminals were adjudged guilty of crimes serious enough to warrant the sentence of death by hanging, a sentence that was "allegedly" carried out at the inn itself, from an oak beam over the well of the staircase. Markings, "said to be" from rope marks, still exist on the staircase wood. The inn has, based on these unverified and undocumented stories, a reputation for being haunted by several ghosts or spirits and has been "said to be" the scene of numerous supernatural occurrences or paranormal activities.
I got to the Inn early sadly was closed anyhow i can not afford to drink in a pub what with being a digital hobo doing this for free. I waited for the X3 stagecoach bus into Abergavenny. I used Abergavenny Library to charge all my gear thanks guys great service our Library's great for us hobos. From the Library i went to Tesco's to buy some there cold Coffee which i love i had already got aload food from Aldi in Abergavenny on arrival there. Ok now i am on my way upto the greatest mountain in Wales the Magnificent Sugar loaf mountain and back on the The Cambrian Way. Its a lovey easy walk up Sugar Loaf and it was amazing to see a Beetle festival on the way up. I did not camp at the top due to the wind i found a nice spot with a stream and some shelter and view of the top of Sugar Loaf. Put the tent up and had a rest waited for most the public to come down the mountain then i headed up to do some droning. Had a fantastic sunset at the top.
Sugar Loaf mountain is 596 metres above sea level. It is a popular misconception that Sugar Loaf is an extinct volcano

My pre summer solstice trip to Scotland June 2019. Summer solstice countdown 12/06/2019 New Tolsta is next the beach i wild camped last night at Traigh Mhòr a fantastic beach less than a house by bus from Stornoway. This morning heading back to Stornoway on the w5 bus. I stocked up on food and drink at Stornoway tesco supermarket. I charge my gear up for a hour at Stornoway Lewis Ferry Terminal.
