Day Three on the The Cambrian Way mountain trail 479 km (298 miles) with a total ascent of 22,460 m (73,700 ft). I think it could be Britain's hardest long distance trail. Its hard to say but looking at the map i think i started todays episode around the Mynydd Garnclochdy area i want give exact camping locations away. I was so wet from the rain all night i set about getting ready to walk around 4am just to keep warm. I was no risk at cold from the time of Year and in good health. So walked back up towards Mynydd Garnclochdy i think. The rain came back on top the hill. The rain was very bad so much so i could only see about couple of meters ahead what with the mist as well as the dark even with two powerful lights. By this time my cannon camera was destroyed by the weather i should know by now and my phone was useless take note people think phone navigation fine lucky i know this i used my garmin fenix3 gps watch with the track loaded onto so i knew i was heading in the general dir

Day two on the The Cambrian Way mountain trail 479 km (298 miles) with a total ascent of 22,460 m (73,700 ft). I think it could be Britain's hardest long distance trail. I was in the OEX bush pro bivvi with a light weight summer mat and a summer mountain Mountain Equipment sleeping bag. In the early hours the rain started and then came the lightening i was around 300 meters high on a ridge. I was not sure how far away the lightening was as there was no typical bangs alot the time but it looked very close. The dark sky light up like a giant camera flash. My sleeping got wet from the strong rain but was still ok for another night in the Bivvi. In the morning i set of over the Caerphilly train tunnel by a disused quarry. Next town was Machen which has the last supermarket right on trail until Abergavenny. There is a COOP supermarket at Machen and Machen stores which is what i used. From the village it was a steep at times walk up Mynydd Machen a 362-metre-high (1,188 ft) hill. It was

Day One on the The Cambrian Way mountain trail 479 km (298 miles) with a total ascent of 22,460 m (73,700 ft). I think it could be Britain's hardest long distance trail. It was a late start in Cardiff. Still this time of Year is still a good amount of day time. The trail starts at Cardiff Castle grounds however if you want to see the castle it self you do have to go a little bit of trail which i did not as i have seen the castle many times. It was a walk along the River Taff almost from the start for some way until the route headed away from the river towards Melingriffith Water Pump after which i headed along the abandoned Glamorganshire Canal. After the canal i came out to by Asda Cardiff Coryton Supercentre by the M4 where i topped up on food and drink. The Holiday Inn Cardiff is near here which be a option if you prefer not to wild camp. Tongwynlais village is just a walk away on trail. After a walk though Castell Coch Golf Club i got to Castell Coch. Ahead was a walk along a t

Epic Cornwall Wild camping Cape Cornwall St Just Penzance YHA Bad weather 50mph gusts on the coast.

I camped in a old quarry under Kenidjack Cliff Castle that night was 50mph gusts. Today i went back into St just to get the First Kernow bus into Penzance. Buses in Cornwall are not cheap but i am sure they use to be. In Penzance i went to the Library to charge my gear up but hey you say you was going stay at the YHA penzance but i say you can not check into 1700 which made it pointless stopping there but i only was made clear about that after i had paid online. I could have and would have camped on the moors as the wind was going to die down later and i charge my gear up at the Library anyhow. Since i paid i stopped the night there least i got a shower and it was warm but was more of a dribble of water than a power shower. The hostel was clean and kitchen. It was only £10 for a night camping. After that i headed to Cape Cornwall still on the coast path. At Cape Cornwall i had a look around St Helen’s Oratory which i have been to many times before still i not video it before. After that it was a walk to St just to restock on food however the co op supermarket at the time was being made bigger the irony was because this is was smaller while they was building the add on. So not much choice in ST just food wise. I did get fish and chips which was fantastic only £5 and tasted great. Also got a pasty which was also fantastic. I walked though the mediæval amphitheatre in St just back towards the Library where i charged up my gear. Then i headed back to the coast path wher
